HR COORDINATOR - London - HR Coordinator
Lomar Shipping is looking for an HR Coordinator to work within our HR Department, with responsibilities including–
- Assisting with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
- Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format.
- Assisting with performance management procedures.
- Scheduling meetings, interviews, HR initiatives and maintain agendas.
- Coordinating training sessions and seminars.
- Performing orientations and update records of new staff.
- Producing and submitting reports on general HR activity.
- Assisting with payroll and ad-hoc HR projects.
- Supporting other assigned functions.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices
- Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment process.
- Communicating with staff on policies and procedures.
- Handling office management and H&S matters
- Dealing with confidential HR matters
HR Coordinator Requirements:Â
- 2 years of work experience in related fields or a degree or equivalent qualification in related fields.
- Exposure to employment legislation may be advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Protecting the interests of all employees.
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
