HR COORDINATOR - London - HR Coordinator

Lomar Shipping is looking for an HR Coordinator to work within our HR Department, with responsibilities including–

  • Assisting with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
  • Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format.
  • Assisting with performance management procedures.
  • Scheduling meetings, interviews, HR initiatives and maintain agendas.
  • Coordinating training sessions and seminars.
  • Performing orientations and update records of new staff.
  • Producing and submitting reports on general HR activity.
  • Assisting with payroll and ad-hoc HR projects.
  • Supporting other assigned functions.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices
  • Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment process.
  • Communicating with staff on policies and procedures.
  • Handling office management and H&S matters
  • Dealing with confidential HR matters

HR Coordinator Requirements: 

  • 2 years of work experience in related fields or a degree or equivalent qualification in related fields.
  • Exposure to employment legislation may be advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Protecting the interests of all employees.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
