TREASURY MANAGER - London - Treasury Manager

Lomar Shipping is looking for an experienced Treasury Manger to take on responsibility of the group’s complete Treasury function, together with supervision of its treasury team.

Responsibilities:

  • Monthly, quarterly and annual cashflow projections
  • Cash management
  • Daily cash reporting to Board of Directors
  • First point of contact for banks regarding incoming and outgoing funds
  • Regular meetings with Technical and Procurement departments to discuss suppliers for in house fleet
  • Liaison with vessel managers for technical budget payments and additional funding requirements
  • Monitoring and budgeting cashflow/payments for capex and drydock
  • Supplier liaison
  • Liaison with chartering department to discuss incoming funds
  • Stakeholder liaison (chartering, technical, procurement, operations)
  • Ensuring all finance payments including loans, leases and interest are paid timely
  • Monitoring of cash related covenants
  • F/X hedging when applicable
  • Control of corporate credit cards
  • New bank account opening
  • Assist with treasury aspects of audit
  • Ad hoc requirements
  • Maintenance of groups treasury systems (Cash Analytics, B4B)
  • Completion of all additional duties commensurate of the role

Supervision of the treasury team roles;

  • Payment allocations
  • Bank reconciliations of the group
  • Remittance advices
  • Supplier reconciliations
  • Payments that left reporting
  • Daily hire reporting

Experience

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a Treasury function within the shipping industry, with dealings with Treasury and cashflow.
