Peter Cotopoulis
Chief Operating Officer
Peter Cotopoulis was promoted to Lomar’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) in September 2023, twelve years after joining the company as a Chartering Executive.
Based in Singapore since 2015, he now leads the Chartering and Operations departments for Lomar globally. Peter is also the Director of Lomar’s office in Singapore.
His career in shipping began when he joined Seabreeze UK in 2006, before moving to the broker Tollard Shipping in 2009 where Peter chartered many vessel types for several Greek Owners. Appointed a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers in 2011, Peter joined Lomar as Chartering Executive in the same year. He has worked in chartering of Bulkers, Gas Carriers, Crude & Product Tankers and Containerships.
